Kayak use caching to inflate prices for repeated searches, I know this because when using an incognito tab and running both queries simultaneously, I was quoted a different price for each. They also then tried to inflate the price right at the end of the booking by almost double, horrible unhonest experience.

I had some changes I needed to make. Whilst it was ok in the end there was a lot of unnecessary messing about to get it sorted.

Quote flight price was wrong by 40 per cent every time.
I made my flight selection priced at £477 per passenger. Kayak took me to the airline which then priced the ticket at almost £200 higher per passenger. I repeated the search several times and the same thing happened every time. I was unable to book via Kayak.

Best search engine in the UK!
I've been using KAYAK for years now, and I think it is the best search engine in the UK, comparing hundreds of websites and showing the cheapest option!

Never again
Went through Kayak to book flights which took me to gotogate, they have proved to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to use and ended up stranded in Cyprus. I will never use Kayak again as they are fully aware that some of the companies they promote don't give a monkeys about there customers.

Disreputable
Kayak is a search engine. It does not help you if you purchase a flight from a scammer. I doubt Kayak vets the travel agents. Anyway I have notified Kayak of a disreputable travel agent, chatdeal, who scammed us out of £2,000 for tickets. If you do a search and see they are still advertising on Kayak then you will know Kayak is also contributing to deceit and fraud as they have been notified but have not taken action making them complicit.

Kayak using substandard inbetweens
Used kayak.com to search for a car rental for pick up and drop off to Leeds Bradford airport. Best price sent me to gotrentalcars.com and somehow when it came to paying for the selection it had changed pick up and drop off to Leeds Holbeck which is a half hour taxi drive from the airport. Luckily for me Enterprise paid for my taxi and changed my drop off to the airport. Enterprise told me this is not the first time it had happened and it was down to the brokers lack of understanding of geography i.e East, West is a loose desciption of the actual locations - they have more than one location in West and East.

Fraud companies Opoda part of E dream
Fraud companies Opoda part of E dream.
We purchased tickets and paid full amount.
When we try to confirm the flight number and info was wrong.
We tried to contact but they blocked our number.
Now only four days left but no answer from this company.
So much stress! More than £5000 lost!
Waiting for my £1182!
We used Kayak many time before. However it appears they do not check the suppliers before recommending them on their website. We have purchased tickets to Phuket, Thailand via Kayak, and the travel agent company that provided the tickets is fraudulent! They first refused to issue tickets, took 3 days and 6 hours on hold to get them to issue the tickets, then the flight got cancelled due to war in Ukraine, but the travel agent Dream World Travel is not refunding the money! We are owed £1182, 16 weeks and of constant call and chase emails don’t make any difference! Kayak should remove all unreliable companies from their search engine!

Deals are never available
Used to have some luck with this in the past. Perhaps it's down to changes in the way hoteliers and airlines push details or sheer volume but I find that the "deals" are simply never available.
I'm always told "I've just missed it" even if I immediately try to book. This can't happen a dozen times in a row.
Seeing as this is the only reason to use the web site, rather renders it pointless.

Would never recommend them
I would give them less if could. My daughter got scammed out of $1000 they don't want to know even though the scammer was using all their details address etc. Very good at taking peoples money but not at getting or even helping to get it back.
Not to be trusted. working with fraud travel agent
This company still works with Dream World Travel which is notorious for ripping people off and holding their refunds for years, with only taking them to court the only option of getting your money back.
They have been reported numerous times to Kayak and no action has been taken, therefore Kayak is NOT to be trusted as they still work with these scumbags.
DO NOT USE KAYAK or DREAM WORLD TRAVEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Don’t trust Kayak
Don’t trust Kayak, they are fraudulent. In my initial search for a flight I found a good offer with the British airways however Kayak advised me to stay and set up an alarm to notify me with good prices as they predicted that prices will go down, they predicted that prices will be £320 for my ticket however kayak kept rising their prediction limits to £620 in 3 weeks, I lost the good offer for trusting their scam and forced to buy an expensive ticket!
